It means we don’t believe in stripping, shocking, or overwhelming your skin. We believe in strengthening what’s already there, because you deserve to feel confident in the skin you’re in — not once it’s “perfect,” but as it heals, recalibrates, and restores. Supporting your barrier. Respecting your biology. Honoring your natural rhythm.

Why Nine

Nine represents balance and completion. For us, it’s a reminder that you are already whole, even in process. Your environment, stress levels, nourishment, rest, and rituals all influence how your skin behaves. We don’t isolate skincare from the rest of your life. We consider the whole woman.

Because when you support your rhythm internally and externally, your glow has no choice but to follow.

From the Founder

I created BareNine in 2019, in my first apartment after graduating with my degree in Health Sciences.

It was a season of new everything! New schedule, new job, new responsibilities; and in the middle of it all, my body began responding to new stress. My skin was disrupted, my scalp was dry, and my confidence was shrinking.

What frustrated me most wasn’t just the symptoms, it was the disconnect. The self-care products I loved were expensive, often harsh, and treated my skin like it existed separate from my stress, my routine, and my real life. As though skincare belonged to a version of me who had endless time, an endless budget, and no real demands.

But I knew better.

I understood that skin is biology. It responds to environment, stress, rhythm, and nourishment. It isn’t just lying dormant, it communicates.

BareNine was born from that realization. What started as a personal pursuit to support my own barrier and restore balance became something larger — a brand committed to honoring the whole person.
We don’t isolate skincare from life. Our mission is to provide grounded rituals to support you through all of life’s phases: sensitive, stressed, chaotic, busy, rested, no matter the season.

BareNine has grown since those early formulations in my apartment, but the heart remains the same: to create intentional, multi correctional care that reminds you to always come home to yourself.
